Ascent Trip Report

Steve and Stephanie led the CMC trip. Slow getting started and organized. Booted all the way up, including the boulder hop on the ridge, which proved to be a challenge in plastic boots. Eventually made the summit and met Michelle and Nancy from Boulder. We tarried a bit too long on the summit, with the skies darkening to the West. Trip down, steve concerned about Snow stability, ended up walking to a boulder field. The we decided that walking it was more dangerous then skiing, all put our skis back on and had a pretty good descent down on sticky snow. Michelle and Nancy had lead and kicked off a very shallow wet sluff at max slope point, maybe 1" deep at 32 degrees.
