Ascent Trip ReportThis was my first hike with the Hiking Mates since I first joined them. The brilliant Fall colors, great weather, and great group of people made this the perfect trek. Despite being a 14.8 mi trek, this hike was incredibly easy, about as easy as the ascent of Cascade. The summit of Marcy was an experience! Gale force winds, and you could see the clouds moving past you. There were a great many people on the mountain, and even coming up the mountain. Very popular mountain that day. A phenomenal, unforgettable hike!
