Ascent Trip ReportMt. Konocti (Wright Peak) LO is on the CA 2K Prominence list but is on private property and old info on summitpost.org is now invalid. Emily and Mike Fowler are the new people to contact and Emily's cell phone # is (707) 245-7322. They require a $20 charge to hike to the peak from the gate which is only 3 miles one-way, or they can escort you and let you in to the lookout, or even provide a meal which all costs more. Additional info is at topofkonocti.com and I thought the view from the top, of Clear Lake below, was worth the expense and hike up.
