Ascent Trip Reportwe ran into a pack of bears. I ran away but Rene jumped on the biggest bears back and rode him all the way up to the cabin. When I got up there I told Rene he was going to have to hike back down to the spot where he jumped the bear and hike back up for his ascent to count toward his 48.
