Ascent Trip Report

Originally set out for Olancha Peak from Sage Flat, but encountered poor conditions (trail covered with water or snow in many places) and had challenges with the elevation. Tried to take the shortcut via bear trap meadow, but missed it to the west resulting in more challenging terrain and some extra elevation loss.

Note: Kevin Ford joined for this hike, but being in better shape, bagged the 11320' peak to the north.
