Ascent Trip Report

Took the day off and what a great day it was. The weather was fantastic. The hike up Marble was steep and blood pumping. The Willmington trail was very tame as was the hike over to Esther. Alot of snow at about 3500ft but managable with bare boots, didnt bother putting on microspikes. I dont know how this chick esther got lost, the highway and castle on whiteface are mad obvious. Anywho, the views on Esther were actually pretty nice, especially from the false summit. Took a small nap on a warm slide off the trail between marble + lookout mt on the descent. Excellent day, couldn't ask for better weather. Good times.
