Ascent Trip Report

Fastest hike up at 33 minutes following the Beeline Trail. I stayed on the summit until after sunset and descended the Brook Trail slowly. My walk down took 1 hour and 40 minutes. It required flashlight only under the thicker pines and Hemlocks near the base. Otherwise the twilight was strong for nearly two hours.

I successfully called a Barred Owl while descending. As I walked and called I heard the owl attempt to approach me, but never caught up.
