Ascent Trip ReportAfter a full month of rain in April the first day of May was the perfect day for my first hike of the year. Only problem was I chose Hunter mountain. Seven months since I strapped on the boots seems to have slowed me down just a bit. Plus this hill is steep! I took the Becker Hollow trail to the connector up and Becker Hollow the whole way back. There was snow on the BH but not on the connector. Gorgeous views from the top tier of the tower but cabin was locked. I now only have Mt. Tremper to complete the fire tower challenge.
