Ascent Trip Report***Private Hike***
Great hike along PCT for first 6.5 miles followed by 0.5 miles/900' gain cross country over steep, loose, slippery, class 2 and 3 terrain. The 0.5 mile section took 1.5 hours to get up. Fantastic views of snow capped Sierra to the north and west, China and Trona Dry Lakes to the east. Snow capped San Gabriel and San Bernadinos to the south. Breezy and cool.
