Ascent Trip Report

Camped two nights at Roaring Brook campground and hiked to the foot of the mountain, to Chimney Pond. Rain, rain, rain, and some fog. No view of the mountain from the pond.
Decided to leave but turned back and stayed one night at the Katahdin Stream CG. Alpine start and a good hike to the top and back in fairly strong wind. Very few people on the mountain this day.
