Ascent Trip Report

Ascended Anna first of seven, then onto Mack (2/7), Klem (3/7) and back to Anna. Snow conditions mostly firm but softening with warming weather. Trail from Anna to Straightback South (4/7)still firmed up more from heavier traffic. South slope of Straightback a dry bushwack down with snake sunning hisself in dry leaves. Col below is a large swampy beaver pond of islands whose other bank crosses up to other end of snowmobile trail leading to Anna Mtn TH. I was able to run the icy snowmobile trails while hiking trails were much too easily two / three foot postholes, still ...
