Ascent Trip ReportThe last hike of my 20's, just hours before my birthday. I parked at the lowest yellow gate, just off the paved road. I wasn't sure if I would be done by sunset and didn't want to risk having my car locked in. As I finished the hike, there were still 20+ cars above the gate and 2+ hours of sunlight. Sometimes I worry too much.... Aidan and I just walked up the dirt road to the locked gate and on to the summit structures. The summit is an old Nike Missile Control Site. Pretty interesting.
