Ascent Trip ReportThe report by Ken Jones is accurate, but this additional information might be helpful for those wanting to limit the amount of bushwhacking. After turning right (northeast) on the Loop Trail, begin looking for an overgrown path on the rightside of the trail within one city block distance from the intersection. Bushes might cover over the path entrance, but it is there. The path soon becomes a very long-since overgrown, ancient roadbed. Using a GPS as my guide, I followed the overgrown path/roadbed until its closest point to the highpoint area, then turned left and bushwhacked towards the highpoint area. Several stumps are contenders for the highest point, but all are in the same general area.
