Ascent Trip ReportRode the main lift up, then to the T-Bar "The high Lift" to the Northwest side Hike down the saddle then up the Butte in snowboarding boots. The hike is in the double black diamond runs but the area was shut off. (went anyway I was suprised that the lifty did not yell at me) Wish'd I had ski poles a few times. Fresh snow no trail to true summit. Had to cut some steps for the last 30feet up. Last 30feet was ?able due to the recient snow, pitch and wind gusts but. Snowboard down.
