Ascent Trip ReportNice hike with John + Mike, but this was a lazy day that I wasn't meant to hike. The views were very stunning. I was tired as hell on this one, my blood pumping throughout the hike. All i wanted to do was take a nap the whole time. I thought the hike was going to be like 4mi RT and didnt realize we were doing something like 10mi until i was half way into it, on the way back no less. I didn't bother to pay attention or read or anything. Still needed snowshoes, wore my MSRs. Mike didn't bring his shoes and was postholing, but i didnt feel bad for him because he's in shape and a toughguy 46er so he could deal. I just wasn't into this hike, I think i blimped up too much this winter, too many ho-ho's, and also was a bit bored, though I enjoyed the company my mind was elsewhere - at home, sitting on the couch playing nintendo.
