Ascent Trip Report

This peak was more challenging than anticipated. The ridge was riddled with false summits, which was like a series of April Fools' jokes, given we did this on 4/1. There is extensive scrambling from any approach with a choice of difficulties from 3-5, but avoiding at least some class 4 would be challenging to avoid.

The ridge route has more up and down, and has the elevation gain more spread out. The ridge route is also on sharp, rough rock.

The face route had less up and down, the elevation gain was more concentrated, and much of it were well marked with cairns. The face route was mostly on sandstone.
