Ascent Trip Report

Second DPS peak of the day. Followed the DPS guide to the parking spot. Headed south up the wash, cutting east on to a ridge leading up to the false summit. From here it's a bit of a drop to the southeast to the final summit push. There is a use trail somewhat leading up. On top lies a large pile of rocks and an amazing view of the Salton Sea, Coachella Valley, and Santa Rosa Range. After a short snooze on top, we headed back down to the car.
