|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||4142 ft / 1262 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThere is a road leaving the main road about 50 yards south of Dutchman Pass that heads most of the way up the wash towards the base of Railroad Peak. Following that road, and the wash, one can eventually the peak (actually a false summit) and a prominent pass to the left of it. If one keeps left one can get to the pass on mostly solid ground (there are some loose sections, but much less than in the middle of the wash). From there, it is scrambling almost all the way to the summit. The ridgeline usually has the best (firmest) rocks. The view from the summit is amazing.
