Ascent Trip ReportFrom US 30 take Pa 233 7 mi. north to Shippensburg Road. A mile and a half up Shippensburg Rd. gets you to the crest. There are two gated roads there. The higher one is clearly marked "Private Road, No Trespassing. The second, a few yards down, appears to be on public land. From the locked gate it's less than a quarter mile to a microwave tower. Just behind the tower climb over some construction debris and find a use path that heads to the high point area. I suspect the high point is on private property. All along the gravel road to the microwave tower, no trespassing signs were clearly visible in the woods uphill from the road. I did not see any signs on the path, but I suspect that the high point is at least 100 feet over the property line.
