Ascent Trip ReportGreg an I took his truck to the cable crossing on the Squamish River; very easy and relaxing canoe trip across, followed by a relentless hike up the Lake Lovelywater trail (broken only by some pleasant waterfall stops); Camped at the lake and got an early start to the NE Ridge of Niobe - steep snow; ridge itself is very narrow and exposed with a few exciting moves (especially the short overhang on the gendarme near the top); rock is very good; descended via the S slopes to the col with Mount Pelops
