Ascent Trip ReportWe returned to the summit from our unseccessful attempt on Montgomery Peak. Our dog Hadrain had bleeding paws and it was a long hike down to our backpacking gear with out any potential shelter. We camped out on the summit. There were two shallow wind breaks. I and Hadrain took the larger and Anya took the smaller. Don't not waste your money on cheap space blankets!!! They fall apart. Hadrain save my legs! It was a very cold Clear night and I was so glade to see the sunrise.
