Ascent Trip ReportWindy and Freezing! Blood too cold to pump. But still easy, its just slide. There was a bad snow storm this morning and it was insanely cold and the wind was scary as hell. As i was getting dressed, a few cars drove up to the trailhead, and after looking at the trail they turned back. This scared me a little bit but whatever. It was so windy on the summit, after i took a few pictures and turned around, my MSR tracks were completely gone within minutes. Huge drifts formed on the trail on the way back which i thought was awesome in such a short period of time. Saw some crazy mofo hiking up as i was descending, his tracks were nowhere again within 2-3 minutes. This hike and a recent hike on halcott by myself made me appreciate the power of wind in blowing away a trail.
