Ascent Trip Report27 degrees and gale force winds. Within a minute I gave up, spent a much needed night in a $30 cheap motel (first shower of the week). The L.A. traffic report listed a few semis blown onto their sides on the Grapevine that morning!
I successfully summited the next day, when it was a little warmer and just bad winds.
