Ascent Trip ReportWhile hiking the Colorado Trail, my hiking partner and I made the side trip from the trail on the east side of the mountain, returning to the trail via the same route. This was an unusual Rocky Mountain Summer, with very infrequent afternoon thunderstorms, but earlier that same summer, strong rain storms.
