Ascent Trip ReportParked at Information Center on Route 23. 2 hour parking in summer. If you have any self-respect you should only attempt this high point in dead of winter, possibly at night or in a snowstorm. Its that easy. AT is across street from parking and is free to hike on. Other trails may cost money. Too many regulations. It is about 1.5 miles to High Point Monument. Fairly flat hike with good views of NJ.
