Ascent Trip ReportBluebird skies and perfectly packed trail made for a great day on Liberty Flume! Parked at the Basin hiked in along the bike path, but missed the BW on the way up. Liberty Springs trail was perfect... wore snow shoes for good traction. Climbed really strong and picked out some good spots for sledding along the way. Chilly up top, but incredible views for MILES. Clearest, nicest views I've ever had in the Whites. We estimated we could see about 30 4K peaks from Flume. Ran into the cutest little Fisher on the way over to Flume - kept peaking out at us from behind a tree. Winds had gone down by the time we hit Flume, so lingered up there enjoying the view. Lots of fun sledding on the way down. One of the nicest days I've ever spent in the mountains. Beautiful and feeling surprisingly strong given the toll of the backpack on the previous 2 days.
