Ascent Trip Report

Hiked the Blackhead Range as part of my finish of climbing all of the 35 Catskill peaks over 3500 feet, plus 4 (Blackhead, Slide, Panther and Balsam) again in winter. This trip included Blackhead, which was the last winter peak I needed to complete all 39 ascents.

Great snowshoeing conditions. Packed trail, sunny, fairly warm, no wind. Beautiful day with excellent company.
