Ascent Trip ReportCamped at Helen Lake with Chuck. Ferocious thunderstorm the afternoon of 9/10. Hail and lightning. Closest I have ever been to a direct lightning hit. There was so little snow, that we went left of heart and climbed a near vertical ice shelf above the red banks.
