Ascent Trip ReportThe mountain has 2 peaks, the western peak was measured to 4550 meters, the eastern peak was 4557 meters, 7 meters higher. The distance between the peaks is around 500 meters. Both peaks climbed, a few meters of very easy scrambling, almost a walk-up. Further east there is a steeper ridge that may look higher, but it is not. There is a new "road" up to the Ras Dashen pass. A good 4wd vehicke could drive up to 4300 meters, if this is allowed. I guess 2 hours walking up and down from the road. I would recommend to spend some days in this beatyful area. We had a 5 days hike.
