Ascent Trip ReportHiked up in the mid afternoon with Miles Horton. The trail was packed down enough that we took our snowshoes off about a third of the way up and then continued on in just boots. Amazing views from the summit, but clouds moved in around the top of Greylock just after we reached the top. Good views down to the college, and we spent around half an hour on the snowy summit. The sun was setting behind the Taconics as we left the vistas, and we sprinted down the first .8 miles in just over three minutes, still carrying our snowshoes.
