Ascent Trip ReportThis was a beautiful hike. The terrain from the north to the base of the peak is mostly easy washes, but with a couple of class 3 sections (they can be bypassed) through the Black mountains. Then once at the saddle between Pyramid and Booth, the climbing does get more intense - one can take loose class 2 up to a point, but beyond that some class 3 and maybe even class 4 is needed to reach the summit.
If one keeps a fast enough pace, one can also summit neighboring Pyramid Peak.
