Ascent Trip ReportAfter a fun day of hiking in Shenandoah, I headed back through DC on my way to the hotel in Maryland. After wandering around the Lincoln Memorial and getting a few night pictures, I headed back vis Reno Reservoir. Since you can't go inside the fence to the man-made high point, I wandered around and found the highest point outside of the fence using the CoHP directions from trip reports. Thinking about it, this may have been one of my coldest state high points.
