Ascent Trip ReportThe highpoint of the historic County of Oxfordshire before it annexed Abingdon and the Vale of the White Horse in the 1970s (and gained the higher and much more impressive and enjoyable White Horse Hill). A near drive-up. Just a short stroll into Cowleaze Woods where the apparent highpoint is in a forest ride adjacent to a wooden electricity pole. Cold & misty with snow on the ground.
