Ascent Trip Report I was planning to walk up this hill from Happy Valley after a few days of sitting around enjoying Christmas festivities. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of entering a mall parking lot on the day after Christmas to drop someone off. After moving about a tenth of a mile in 45 minutes trying to escape the lot, I gave up, parked, and browsed around the REI there.
It got dark, but I had a flashlight in the car. I decided to scout the roads leading through the neighborhood to the top of the peak to see if they could be safely walked at night in the rain. After a few twisty turns up the road (no sidewalk, or even shoulder in some spots) I decided my walk was not to be that night.
I'll make this an honest ascent at some point soon. : )
