Ascent Trip Report

I used the satnav to find the village of Innimond and drove bout 2km north on the D94a towards Ordonnaz. At a prominent LH bend there is parking for a few cars and from this point (alt. 933m) a track heads up the hill in what seems the wrong direction but it quickly switches back to the NNW. Follow the track until curves around to the R to a col at altitude 1096m which is a 6 way junction of tracks. For the first time Mollard de Don is visible ahead. Take the second track on the left which heads almost due north and a little downhill. After a few minutes a second col is reached, flat, boggy and forested. The hill is signposted right off the main track on a path which crosses the col to a fork. Take the left hand variant steeply uphill to the summit. The view is open back in the direction of ascent. It was getting late so I hurried back to the car to drive to the 4th and final hill of the day, Le Grand Thur
