Ascent Trip Report

Took ferry to Lanai, and were met at dock by Adventure Lanai personnel. They gave us basic instruction in ATV usage and we rode the Munro Trail up the island's backbone.

Alternatives include hiking the Munro Trail (actually a jeep road) or renting a jeep - but most firms prohibit jeeps from the Munro Trail due to slippery mud conditions. We considered the road-walk hike option, but Karen's ankle was acting up.
