Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful Trip!! Spent the night in the Boulder field oin the way up. Got pretty windy and cold that night but it was a beautiful evening! Saw Ptarmigan and a large herd of elk just before entering the boulder field. Got an early start the next morning and summited via the Keyhole route. We did cross some steep snowfields and it was tricky footing without axes or crampons. Some great exposure just before the final push to the summit. Summit was huge!!! Gorgeous calm day at the summit. Retreated down the same route, packed up, and just made it back to the truck before a ferocious thunderstorm hit hard!!
