Ascent Trip ReportAbandoned 80-foot fire tower on the summit is still in good condition but is padlocked. If you could get above the trees, the view would be spectacular, because there are no comparable hills for miles. Through the trees and despite the overcast, I was able to see much of the Blue Ridge over 50 miles to the NW.
