Ascent Trip Report

The Park Service periodically relocates this trail--I presume for environmental reasons. When we hiked it, we started at a pull off from the main park road just before the high dunes area. Basically it was nothing more than a series of poles leading northwest from the road. Offers relief from the crowds and nice views of the Tularosa Basin.
