Ascent Trip Report

From US-6 about 13 miles SE of Price, I turned off on the signed UT-123 toward Sunnyside and noted my odometer. At 11.2 miles, the centerline ends just before a huge rectangular mine building on the right. At 14.1 miles, I turned off on an unpaved road, suitable for any street-legal vehicle, where a FS sign says, among other destinations, that it is 5.5 miles to Bruin Point. This road heads up Water Canyon. At 16.4 miles a side road proceeds straight ahead; I continued on the main road which is a sharp switchback to the left. At 17.7 miles, I parked at a switchback at 8800 feet and Earlized the rest of the way to the summit. However, a person with a Martinizing mindset could do so in any street legal vehicle. There are several towers on the summit.
