Ascent Trip ReportAnne, Carl, Juha and I went up Eisenhower via the Edmands Path last Saturday. We saw some mud down below and the ice began around 4000 feet. We all opted for microspikes and had no problems moving around. When we got onto the ridge everything was socked in. But a few minutes into the last stretch the tops of the Presis peaked out. We had clear views of Washington and Jefferson.
We hit the windless summit and had a long lunch break while taking in the clear skies to the east and southeast and a very cool undercast and overcast to the east and southwest.
This was #32 for Anne. 2/3 done!
