Ascent Trip Report

Returned to Quandary for a night hike up the standard east ridge route, to watch the Perseid meteor shower. The weather was perfect: clear, calm, and mild. An easy, uneventful climb, accompanied by Horton the Quandary dog. Only was two other people on the way up. Left the Monte Cristo TH about 1 am MDT. Didn't make the summit before dawn :{, but did make it before sunrise. Plan to do it again, or something similar, next August.
