Ascent Trip Report

We were originally going to hike Sandwich Dome but a rough river crossing consumed a lot of our time and we ended up abandoning that effort and went for Mount Osceola instead. We started around 10:50am, summited around 1:05pm and were back at the trailhead by 3:30pm. For the first mile or so the trail was basically a stream with water everywhere. The upper elevations turned to snow and ice although it was a very light covering and we did not need any special equipment.
