Ascent Trip ReportCold day. I did this one with my best friend Duane. Two state high points in a row together. We hit snow pretty low, around 10,500 or so. The summit was under about 6 inches of snow, drifting to a foot in places. The trail was packed down and there were a lot of unprepared hikers out there. Some people were in shorts. Temperatures on the high ridge were down in the low 20's. Overall, a great winter condition ascent in the fall!
