Ascent Trip Report

I approached Brush Mountain from Dead Indian Memorial Road and then up Big Draw Creek. I parked along the good road on the east side of the summit and hiked up through second growth and then some taller timber to the summit. There are 2 rock outcroppings that are about the same elevation. The northern most one has a large cairn and some rock work to make a shelter. This must be the ruins of an old fire lookout that was abandoned in 1930. No views because of the forest.
