The entire S side of the mountain is bald, and the view is spectacular. Mount Michell was visible, probably 70 miles away.
Outside the FAA facility, the highest point is probably on the E side of the fence, where there is a small rock cairn at the foot of a spruce. Another contender is on the W side a few yards into the woods.
