Ascent Trip Report

This was the last and hardest of a very long day in which I did little haystack, lincoln, lafayette and garfield with a 50+ pound pack. This was a grueling descent into the trees after Lafayette and then a straight climb up Garfield after numerous rocky ups and downs. I thought it would never end but when it did I found the best view in the wilderness. This trip was on the Garfield Ridge trail from the Lafayette Summit.
