Ascent Trip Report

There is very little information about this mountain. You climb up 2.5 on the Little Jackson Trail and get to a saddle between Little Jackson Mountain and Big Jackson. Big Jackson has a path marked by hunter's tape. It is a thin path but relatively easy to follow. There is one open ledge where views are excellent. However, on the summit there is a helicopter pad, solar panels, and a shack with no windows. Views are limited. This is a good mountain but not great if you're looking for great views. Little Jackson is much better in that regard. However, Big Jackson is much less traveled. The path has no rocks and is nice and easy on the knees.
