Ascent of Charleston Peak on 2010-09-28
|Date:||Tuesday, September 28, 2010|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||11916 ft / 3631 m|
Ascent Trip ReportSolo scramble (mostly 2, occasional easy 3 moves) up a loose but fun gully from the ski resort to the North Loop Trail. Ubiquitous thistle and a thorny ground-clinging alpine shrub turned a bushwhack along a wash and a scramble up a gully into an obstacle course.
