Ascent Trip ReportSierra and I approached from Moon Haw Rd. as part of a 3500 club group. The group left the cars around 8:45 AM. We used herd paths intermittently to follow a line to the base of the cliffs on Friday. From there, we worked our way to the col and ascended Friday first. After a brief summit stop, we descended to the col and followed herd paths most of the way to Balsam Cap. Finding this canister was a bit more difficult than Friday's. After retracing our steps toward Friday, we descended the ridge and made it back to the cars by 5:00 PM.
